What is the syllabus for the IELTS classes in Mumbai

IELTS is akin to an admittance ticket for your goal if you want to pursue an education abroad. One should be familiar with the most recent exam syllabus before beginning to study for the examination. Candidates can enroll in the English Kraft IELTS programmes in Mumbai since we offer our pupils the British Council, IDP, and Cambridge English-required revised syllabus for 2022 and 2023. All exam sections will be covered in class. Let’s look at the exam format before we examine the syllabus.

IELTS Listening test

The four components of the IELTS listening test can be either monopoly or conversational. The first two portions will cover social issues, and the final two will deal with education-related issues. Multiple-choice, matching, sentence completion, summary completion, labelling of maps and diagrams, and other question types will be used. The information can only be heard once, and the students will have 10 minutes at the conclusion to transfer their responses. In 40 minutes, 40 questions must be answered.

IELTS Reading test

There are three sections to the IELTS reading test, each having 40 questions that must be solved within 60 minutes. This is a test of the person’s capacity for understanding. The person is required to read the three passages and respond to the questions. Any of the following question types, including multiple-choice, data identification, sentence or summary completion, list or phrase matching, and writer viewpoint identification, may be used.

IELTS Writing test

Academic writing is required for the IELTS writing tasks. Here, the applicants must respond to two brief essays, each 150 and 250 words long. The candidate must respond to questions in the first portion based on the information they learned from the graphic, data, or table they were given. In the second phase, they will be given a claim, issue, or point of view for which they must offer a response, support their position, consider alternative viewpoints, etc. The segment lasts for 60 minutes.

IELTS Speaking test

The IELTS speaking test is analogous to an interview in which the candidate will be questioned by the examiner to determine how well they speak English and how fluently they do it. The speaking proficiency test is divided into three sections: a personal interview, a topic-based speech, and a topic-related conversation. For the purpose of evaluation, the test will last between 11 and 14 minutes, and the entire part will be recorded.
